The Founder and CEO of TLT Consulting Services, Terri L. Horton, MBA, MA,  built a foundation of services around a vision to develop and provide executable  personal branding and career marketing strategies across a broad level of   job seekers and career levels.  Intrinsically built into this vision,  was the ability to incorporate synthesized  and dynamic branding strategies into the process of job search  and career marketing.

Horton has over 20 years experience at the publisher, director and manager level,  in marketing, advertising,  sales, product development and  brand-building  with some of the nation's largest Fortune 500 media companies. Her experience spans print, online, niche and television advertising mediums.  Throughout her career, Horton has interviewed thousands of candidates, managed, coached, mentored and provided career guidance for individuals and employees across a wide spectrum of organizational levels and functional areas. She broadened her talent management experience by consulting for a global executive search firm and provided consultative talent acquisition and retention solutions to Fortune 500 clients while working exclusively with executive-level candidates to strategically identify top-tier leadership opportunities.  

Horton holds  a MBA in Marketing, a Master of Arts  in Organizational Management and is completing her Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in Leadership. She is a faculty instructor at the UC level and for several  private and proprietary universities and serves on the board of directors  for the School of Business at the California State University level . She is the marketing director for an online instructional design firm, has held board of director positions for national and regional non-profits and for one of California's largest  chambers of commerce.   Horton is a member of the American Marketing Association, Institute of Management Consultants, Human Capital Institute, International Association of Coaches , Association for Sustainability in Higher Education and the National MBA Association.
