Throughout her career, Horton has interviewed thousands of candidates, managed, coached, mentored
and provided career guidance for individuals and employees across a wide spectrum of organizational
levels and functional areas. She broadened her talent management experience by consulting for a
global executive search firm and provided consultative talent acquisition and retention solutions to
Fortune 500 clients while working exclusively with executive-level candidates to strategically identify top-
tier leadership opportunities.
Horton holds a MBA in Marketing, a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and is completing her
Doctorate in Business Administration with a specialization in leadership, sustainability and change
management. She is a faculty instructor at the UC level and for several private and proprietary
universities and serves on the board of directors for the School of Business at the California State
University level. She is a marketing advisor for a global consulting firm and an advisory board member
for Chief Learning Officer Magazine. Horton is a member of the American Marketing Association,
Institute of Management Consultants, Human Capital Institute, International Association of Coaches,
Association for Sustainability in Higher Education and the National MBA Association.
